Accounts & organisations

Your Badger Commerce account is personal to you. Organisations are how teams and billing are grouped. Understanding the difference makes everything else easier.

Creating your account

Sign up from the Get Started page using your work email. Your account is your identity across every Badger tool — you will not need a separate login for each one.

What an organisation is

An organisation represents your company or team. It owns subscriptions, billing details, and its members. When you sign up, we create your first organisation automatically so you can get started straight away.

You can belong to more than one organisation — for example, if you:

  • work with more than one company or brand, or
  • are invited into a client's or partner's organisation.

Switching organisations

If you belong to several organisations, an organisation switcher appears in the dashboard. The platform remembers your current organisation, so the data and subscriptions you see always belong to the one you have selected.

Links from a Badger tool or an email can also take you straight to a specific organisation — when they do, that organisation becomes your active one automatically.

Your profile

Your name, email, and profile photo come from your account and are managed in your account settings. Keeping your email current matters: it is where billing and security notifications are sent.
