Signing in to Badger tools
Single sign-on (SSO) means one Badger Commerce account gets you into every tool you subscribe to, without a separate password for each.
How it works
When you open a Badger tool, it checks with Badger Sett to confirm who you are and that your organisation has an active subscription. If you are already signed in, you go straight through. If not, you are asked to sign in once, and then returned to the tool.
Behind the scenes this uses short-lived, signed tokens. Your password is never shared with the individual tools — they only receive confirmation of your identity and access.
Choosing an organisation
If you belong to more than one organisation, you may be asked which one you want to use when signing in to a tool. This makes sure the tool opens with the right organisation's data and subscription. See Accounts & organisations for more on switching.
If you cannot get in
A tool may not let you in if:
- your organisation does not have an active subscription to that tool — you can subscribe from Pricing or your dashboard; or
- your access to the organisation has been removed by an owner or admin.
If you believe you should have access, ask an owner or admin of your organisation to check your role and membership, or contact support.
Staying secure
Because one sign-in reaches several tools, keep your account secure: use a strong, unique password and sign out on shared devices. You can read more about how we protect sign-in on our Security page.
