Team & roles
Add teammates to your organisation and control what each of them can do using roles.
Roles
Every member of an organisation has one of three roles.
- Owner — full control of the organisation, including billing, subscriptions, members, and roles. An organisation always has at least one owner.
- Admin — can manage members and day-to-day settings, and generally manage subscriptions, but is not the ultimate account owner.
- Member — can use the tools the organisation subscribes to, without managing billing or other people.
Inviting people
Owners and admins can invite teammates from the team settings in the dashboard. Invite people using the email address they will sign in with. Once they accept, they appear in your members list with the role you assigned.
Changing roles and removing members
Owners and admins can change a member's role or remove them from the organisation at any time. Removing someone immediately revokes their access to the organisation and its subscribed tools. Role and membership changes are recorded in your organisation's activity log.
How roles affect tools
Your role in Badger Sett determines your access to the platform and its subscriptions. Individual tools may layer their own permissions on top — check a tool's own documentation for details of what each role can do inside it.
